TSNR is the result of a confluence of two disparate musical subjectivities in search of gloriously uncertain fruits. In uncertainty, in duplicity, in hesitation lies surprise, often the source of wonderful accidents of human creativity. JJDoc and Amadeu Marin accept the challenge of generously entangling ourselves in the exploration of sound universes that each of us separately would never imagine without the other.

As if that challenge weren't exciting enough, we undertake that adventure through improvisation. We are moved by walking the tightrope of free and spontaneous creation, and Tug-of-War is the result, however inert, of the improvisational process that took place on December 11, 2022 at Isósteles Estudi in Borriana, Spain. No more and no less. The audience who attended live enjoyed, as the late John Russell said, the opportunity to discover the music at the same time as the players.


(CAT) TSNR és el resultat d’una confluència de dos subjectivitats musicals dispars en busca de fruits gloriosament incerts. En la incertesa, en la duplicitat, en la vacil·lació rau la sorpresa, sovint font de meravellosos accidents de la creativitat humana. JJDoc i Amadeu Marin acceptem el repte d’embolicar-nos generosament en l’exploració d’universos sonors que cada u de nosaltres per separat mai no imaginaria sense l’altre.

Per si eixe desafiament no fóra suficientement apassionant, mamprenem eixa aventura mitjançant la improvisació. Ens commou transitar per la corda fluixa de la creació lliure i espontània, i Tug-of-War és el resultat, per bé que inert, del procés improvisatiu que va tindre lloc l’11 de desembre de 2022 a Isósteles Estudi de Borriana, Espanya. Ni més ni menys. El public que va assistir en directe va gaudir, com deia el desaparegut John Russell, de la oportunitat de descobrir la música al mateix temps que els intérprets.

Por si ese desafío no fuera lo suficientemente apasionante, emprendemos esta aventura mediante la improvisación.. Nos conmueve transitar por la cuerda floja de la creación libre y espontánea, y Tug-of-War es el resultado, aunque inerte, del proceso improvisativo que tuvo lugar el 11 de diciembre de 2022 en Isósteles Estudi de Burriana, España. Nada más y nada menos. El público que asistió en directo gozó, como decía el fallecido John Russell, de la oportunidad de descubrir la música al tiempo que los intérpretes.
